I'm still trying to solve the game Mystery Voyage for the c64 programmed by Kevin Bentley (click here to see the original post) .
I've contacted a Kevin Bentley who has programmed Amnesia, but according to him he didn't program Mystery Voyage. Is there another Kevin Bentley or was the game written by someone else? About Amnesia the Kevin which I contacted writes that is was programmed in Forth, 6502, and 8088 assembler and then cross compiled. If you search on the internet however it says Amnesia was programmed using the King Edward Adventure game authoring system written by James Terry. It is also mentioned on some sites that Mystery Voyage was written using this same system. James Terry does mention this authoring system on his home page, but I can't find any information on the internet about this system. Is there anyone who knows something about it? Or even better how to retrieve a verb list from a game written with this system?

Re: King Edward Adventure game authoring system
After a little bit of searching I see that Amnesia uses a parser that can handle complex sentences whereas Mystery Voyage is restricted to verb/noun input. Therefore, given that Moby Games has screenshots (C64, PC) showing that Amnesia is programmed in the 'King Edward adventure language', I doubt that Mystery Voyage uses the 'King Edward' system.
Regarding the author of Mystery Voyage, ZZAP!64 states that the game was written by someone called Kevin Bentley so we are probably looking at two people with that name.

Re: King Edward Adventure game authoring system
Thanks Alastair for your reply. I searched some more magazines and on page 9 of Your Commodore from 1986 I read Colleen was a new software house based in Wales and Mystery Voyage was their first adventure program. Probably you are right and it is another person with the same name (the other Kevin is American). I also read in another magazine the game was written using the quill. So finally using unquill I was able to see how I can complete the game.
