Done another port. This time of Aardvark software's "Earthquake" from VIC20 to TRS-80 MC-10. Includes word wrapping and spelling corrections.

I have ported "Island of Secrets" the type-in listing from the book of the same name to the TRS-80 MC-10. Ported it from Commodore 64 version I found on-line. However, there were some bugs in it which prevented it from being playable or winnable (Syntax errors, missing numbers in ON/GOTO statements). I fixed'em . Here's a video of a 64 version. Don't know if it's the same one:

You are a legend. Do you have Mansion by Microdeal?

Do you want a Jim Gerrie port to the MC-10, a cassette image, or just a listing of the program? I can help with the last two but not the first.

Hmmmm, I'm not too clever. I've been using an MC-10 emulator and just wanted a cassette image I think so I could just play the game.

Ah, that would be a Jim Gerrie port - the cassette image (and indeed actual cassette) I have is for the Dragon computer.

I'd just like to play the 5 games in this series. I think a couple I have that are already ported.

I have Williamsburg and Ultimate. But would like Mansion, Jerusalem and Castle Dracula.
If anyone can help I would be grateful.
Thanks

If you are willing to use a another emulator for a different computer then you could use the Dragon versions released by Microdeal (though this excludes
Castle Dracula since they never released that game for the Dragon).
You can download the necessary cassette images (.CAS files) plus Dragon ROM files from
The Dragon Archive: see the pages for
Mansion,
Jerusalem, and for completeness
Williamsburg, and
Ultimate, plus download
Dragon Data Ltd - Dragon 32 - IC17.zip from the
ROM section.
You will also need the emulator XRoar, either the
latest release or the
latest 'xroar-snap' for your computer system.
Unzip XRoar, the ROM, and the cassette images all into the same directory/folder and start XRoar. Once XRoar is running press 'Ctrl+Shift+L' and select the .CAS file of the game you wish to run, the game should start automatically but if not type RUN then press return.
XRoar comes with a PDF that explains how to use the emulator, and this site has a
help page on using a Dragon whether real or emulated. If you need any further help just start a new topic on the
Emulators and interpreters help! forum.

Sorry for the delay Sudders,
I have a zip compilation which includes the latest VMC emulator and all my games in the JimG directory in the Cassette directory. The latest can always be uploaded from here:
http://faculty.cbu.ca/jgerrie/Home/VMC10_073D.zip
If you just want the programs themselves (in .c10 for the emulator) a smaller zip can be downloaded here:
http://faculty.cbu.ca/jgerrie/Home/JG_MC-10_GAMES.zip
Don't know if I have Microdeal's Mansion, but there are a number of haunted house adventures there. I did do a graphic Dracula Adventure from ZX81 of some sort too. Don't know if they're what you're look for, but if you can direct me to any specific game I might be able to get source for (from some system), I'll try to port it to MC-10.

Thanks so much for replying Jim,
I have to say that it was you that got me into playing games on the TRS-80 MC-10, I have only played games from your directory.
Looks like there are a few new ones in that list, but I am hoping to play this series:
http://www.solutionarchive.com/game/id% ... sburg.html
You already have Williamsburg and Ultimate in you directory but I would like Mansion, Jerusalem and Castle Dracula so I can play the full set?
Is this possible?
You are a retro legend.
Thanks
Chris

The file in my compilation is called "JERUS.C10"
The LOAD and SAVE commands work and create a file called "JERUSDAT.C10"
Bug reports welcome.
