Glad I could help. Look forward to seeing the game as it should appear on the Model 1/3.

Re: Another Classic Ported to TRS-80 MC-10
Jim, do you mean you are decamping from Blogspot to the Internet Archive?
Re: Another Classic Ported to TRS-80 MC-10
Still on blogspot. But my personal web page with info and links about my game ports has gone to the great bit bucket.

"WhoDunIt" is modified to work on the TRS-80 Micro Color Computer ("MC-10") using Micro Color BASIC from the author's published source code from Color Computer Magazine, Feb 1984, Vol 1 No. 12.
It was a "Summer Programming Project" coding contest winner (runner up).
It is an interesting hybrid of 2-word parser text adventure format and the game of "Clue." You can end up being the murderer, in which case you must dispose of the body. Otherwise, you must explore the house and interpret the clues to find, and shoot the murderer. 2-5 players who take turns being in control of the computer. Instructions recommend not allowing players to view the screen while others play.
It can be played here:

The link is not broken, but shows that the element is no longer available.
Re: Another Classic Ported to TRS-80 MC-10
Auraes, the TRS-80 Color Computer Archive has a copy of the magazine, see https://colorcomputerarchive.com/repo/D ... 0Magazine/
Addendum
Oops! I misread the post, it's the game and not the magazine listing that you want.

Sorry Auraes, I had a mixup with my upload of "Whodunit" to the Internet Archive. This link should work:

I've ported a text adventure modified from source code typed-in by Paul Thacker in November 2022 from a printed listing and handwritten notes of the original author, preserved by Bally Astrocade hobbyists. "Bally's Alley" fits in 4K of memory, which is quite a feat of programming by the author. My version contains bug fixes to ensure that it can be played to completion. It can be downloaded and played here:

Hi Jim,
I know you're always looking for new potential type-ins to port.
I came across the actual listing for this German game https://solutionarchive.com/game/id%2C2 ... anten.html on the page of a guy who ported it to Inform... which allowed me to correct both the title of the game and the fact it was originally written the for the ZX81 (which we didn't have as a platform).
The Inform porter has helpfully placed the original BASIC game listing here: https://drakulas-diamanten.sourceforge. ... 0-1983.pdf
EDIT: Ooh... I knew it looked familiar to another entry that I'd seen before... https://solutionarchive.com/game/id%2C5 ... C+Die.html
EDIT2: There are various bits about the Laser version in the Laser Fan Club #10 http://www.vz200.org/bushy/VZInfo10.pdf but I'm struggling to parse that document due to my poor German-language skills.
EDIT3: I've left that other page up for now but I'll probably be moving that content into the ZX81 original's page as it does just look like an unofficial port.
