My fantasy has always been captured by two Melbourne House adventures, the Hobbit and Sherlock, because of their non-linear gameplay, unpredictable NPCs, and odd bugs. All concurred to a strange, somehow disturbing but also addictive experience. That's why I would like to point to a couple of links for each adventure, one for a comprehensive, enjoyable review by Jimmy Maher and one for an interesting Windows application running the original game in a Spectrum emulator,
The Hobbit review and Wilderlandwhile displaying the state of objects and animals, the current positions of the latter, and a log what all the other creatures (NPC) do while [the player] is in one place.
Sherlock review and Foggy London
Thanks for the wonderful work at this site!
