New to the forum and.. a couple of links :)

Hello everybody. This is Orion70 from Italy. I've been a retrocomputing enthusiast for years now, being devoted particularly to the Commodore VIC-20. As such, I'm and active member in the Denial forum and just LOVE text adventures. I'm 43, so in my teens I had the opportunity to play classic adventures on my C64, as well as some Italian newsstand homebrew ones.

My fantasy has always been captured by two Melbourne House adventures, the Hobbit and Sherlock, because of their non-linear gameplay, unpredictable NPCs, and odd bugs. All concurred to a strange, somehow disturbing but also addictive experience. That's why I would like to point to a couple of links for each adventure, one for a comprehensive, enjoyable review by Jimmy Maher and one for an interesting Windows application running the original game in a Spectrum emulator,
while displaying the state of objects and animals, the current positions of the latter, and a log what all the other creatures (NPC) do while [the player] is in one place.
The Hobbit review and Wilderland
Sherlock review and Foggy London

Thanks for the wonderful work at this site!
