Deja Vu - eine phantastiche geschichte
Has anyone tried to solve this German adventure or wants to have a try?
I'm stuck on the fourth disc, but it is possible I also missed a few things on the third one.
Does anyone know the answers to the following:
-Is there a way to avoid the fox is being scared and runs away?
-What to do with the squirrel? I tried to give the nuts (haselnuesse) but didn't succeed?
The gamecover states that the animals are the only ones who can help you so I guess it could be important.
-Does anyone know which object can been seen on the screenshot I included? The difficulty of this game is that it doesn't describe the objects but only displays them on the pictures. -Whats the use of the "wunderhorn" or the cherries?
-Most important does anyone know how to pass the fog? When you walk east in the fog it says after some turns you better make some light. When I type MACHE FEUER. The computer asks WOMIT. When I type STREICHHOLZ the computer responds Du fehlt noch etwas. Does anyone know what?
I played this game on the c64 and the amstrad. Allthough the the amstrad version I found on the internet doesn't have some pictures blurred like the c64 version unfortunately it crashes as soon as you try to enter the castle making it impossible to solve the game. The c64 version also gives some errors but they don't seem crucial until now.
The amstrad version has some more locations at the beginning of the game then the c64 version but as far as it is playable the puzzles where the same.

It looks like a tree stump, a campfire (?), footprints and a spatula or skillet (?)

At last I solved this one:Alex wrote:-Most important does anyone know how to pass the fog? When you walk east in the fog it says after some turns you better make some light. When I type MACHE FEUER. To get rid of the fog you have to enter: MACHE FEUER, MIT FACKEL, MIT STREICHHOLZ and you light your torch with one of the matches.
Re: Deja Vu - eine phantastiche geschichte
Thanks, it's the object below the tree stump I'm looking for. I allready found out how to use the fire but I don't know what is the object next to it. I'll try a spatula or skillet but the problem is finding the right german word and my German isn't the best in the worldJuan wrote:It looks like a tree stump, a campfire (?), footprints and a spatula or skillet (?)
Re: Deja Vu - eine phantastiche geschichte
I tried every german word I could find for spatula or skilklet but alas it seems to be something different.Juan wrote: a spatula or skillet (?)

Although I got rid of the fog it does'nt seem to help me very much. I'm stuck inside a cave which appears to have only the exit I used to enter it. If someone knows what to do next please let me know.Alex wrote:To get rid of the fog you have to enter: MACHE FEUER, MIT FACKEL, MIT STREICHHOLZ and you light your torch with one of the matches.
Re: Deja Vu - eine phantastiche geschichte
Could the object be a severed leg and foot? Or is that too grisly?
Or maybe it's a pestle and mortar.

Have you tried shovel or spade? It looks to me like something with a handle. Since there was a campfire nearby I thought of some cooking instrument, but it might be a digging one.Alex wrote:I tried every german word I could find for spatula or skilklet but alas it seems to be something different.Juan wrote: a spatula or skillet (?)

Re: Deja Vu - eine phantastiche geschichte
I'd say the dark blue object is a bottle which is leaking some sort of fluid (light blue).
Re: Deja Vu - eine phantastiche geschichte
Could it be a spoon (loeffel)?
Re: Deja Vu - eine phantastiche geschichte
Thank you all for your advice but I tried all of the above (even the leg
) but unfortunately none of them were correct. Maybe I just have to do something else.
Re: Deja Vu - eine phantastiche geschichte
That's a good suggestion. Somehow I didn't envision it like that before. It's right next to the foot and "behind" prints in front of the campfire, left by whoever is it that was there. He might have been drinking and just dropped the bottle (with some liquid still inside) there when he left. But alas! Alex says it is not a bottle.Mr Creosote wrote:I'd say the dark blue object is a bottle which is leaking some sort of fluid (light blue).
Re: Deja Vu - eine phantastiche geschichte
I just found another exit to get out of the cave. It takes me to the entrance of the temple. But you have to have all six magic words to be able to enter it. Unfortunately I found only three of them:Alex wrote:Although I got rid of the fog it does'nt seem to help me very much. I'm stuck inside a cave which appears to have only the exit I used to enter it. -SEFFA from the prisoner you have to free in the castle
-ASAK written on the wall next to the dwarfs who throw rocks at you. You understand the writing when you chew the roots with the indian chief.
-NYRUN written on the parchment you found inside the big tree. You can read it's writing when you light the fire on the screenshot.
Maybe the squirrel and fox give you some other ones but as I wrote above. I don't know what to do with them.
Re: Deja Vu - eine phantastiche geschichte
Found some way inside the temple after all there are several puzzles inside. But it's a bit late. I'll will look at them tomorrow I guess (or later this day
).
Re: Deja Vu - eine phantastiche geschichte
I didn't get very far inside the temple. When you enter a room you can't leave before you've solved the puzzle inside that room. You need a KUGEL (magic ball) to solve some of them and alas I didn't find it during the game. I've uploaded the solution as far as I came. If anyone finds out something more or can answer one of my questions (see the hints I've uploaded) I'll be glad to hear it.
