My questions, Doreen.
How do you get the can from the wolfhound, and not have Brian follow you and kill you?
What to do at the wasps?
What to do at the reeds?

re: wolf hound - do you have the sausages from the shop?
re: wasps - do you have the mask from the living room and the bottle from the pub customer?
re: reeds - you can crash through them if your boat is heavy enough...

Just to remember that you should type EXAMI 5 letters.
If you have the rudd ? from the fridge.
Put rudd on hook then reel out - reel in.
You can gut the pike if you have the knife.
The only things not needed are buns.
You will need some grubs to put on hook.
A knowledge of fishing might prove useful.

How do I get the bottle from the customer in the pub? I see no bottle. Do I need to return the key?

GUT PIKE (when you have caught it) and wait till it's dead - inside it is a LURE - Give the lure to the customer.
I did not return the key.

I am having trouble getting the grubs from the wasps. I have the mask. What is it that I am missing?

re: the grubs - wear mask, open bottle then empty it into the nest.

I must be getting dotty.
OK - I didn't realize I had to fish twice. Got the bottle, and the grubs. I have the detector (on) and am at the reeds. Here I think I need a verb. Carrying the weight isn't enough to get through the reeds.

Do you have the anchor?

Oh lordy? I need to make an anchor. I though of that, but how to tie it? Shouldn't one have a rope? Or just tie?
Speaking on things, I tried to wash, rinse, clean the empty can in order to put the grubs in it and you can't. Now wouldn't that have been a good thing to do? Wouldn't a fisherman have a can to put worms and the like in?
Grrr, can you tell I'm frustrated?

Actually, you need to
detect an anchor at the jetty where you found the boat. All you need to do then is have it onboard when you go S from the open waters (and crash into then thru the reeds). No need to put the grubs into the can - surprisingly they live in your pocket (or wherever all the inventory goes)!
So, grab the grubs, crash through the reeds with the anchor in your possession, and....happy angling
