You need to have done everything you need to do because you can't get back.

Have you the rope? The correct verb is SECURE.

To see is, highlight it with your cursor.

Then just do what one usually does when there is a rope.

This was an idea suggested by a fellow player after the previous discussion when Doreen had sent me a specific verb I needed.

I've already written the solution, so you needn't.

This game has very little logic in it.

Did you find the circuit-board? You don't put that in the computer. You need to give it to someone, who will give you a word. Use that word at a desk.

As if one should know this???

There are four desks.

The stuck drawer can be opened relatively early on. You brought what you need with you from above.

The sleeping man is on a desk, and you need to dispose of him first.

Then there is a third desk (with the extra key), and a fourth desk with other things.

Ok seems to be stuck... I dont know how far you have got but I presume you have the document needed to finish game...
I am stuck with a couple things...
How to open the stuck drawer east of the traffic lights
PHONE seems to be a command, maybe a red herring...
You mentioned using a word at a desk...I'm totally baffled
Also never worked out how I got the key from drawer, (something from above????)
i think we are very close to finishing this game now...after climbing the rope it says finished game...unsuccessfully...whats missing?

I hope this quotation stuff works.

Yes the floppy works in the obvious place.

You don't actually TAKE the document. You should be able to find two things, though that you can use.
How to open the stuck drawer east of the traffic lights

Aah, now that is a good puzzle. It's not the spider or the box, so that leaves two objects found "upstairs". Wrap one with the other, and break it.
PHONE seems to be a command, maybe a red herring...

I didn't use PHONE as a verb.
You mentioned using a word at a desk...I'm totally baffled

First you have to meet the agent, give him something and he will tell you a word. This is one of those illogical, "how am I supposed to know that" puzzles.
Also never worked out how I got the key from drawer, (something from above????)

It's in the drawer once you open it. Assuming you are at the correct desk. It's the door soon after you come downstairs. But I believe that comes later, as I wasn't able to do anything soon after arriving downstairs. When I said you need something from "upstairs" that wasn't the desk I was referring to. Sorry my fault.
after climbing the rope it says finished game...unsuccessfully...whats missing?

The document, of course, or a reasonable facsimile therof.

Hope this helps.

Crumb, all the quotes are around the wrong things. It should be totally reversed. Gotta work on this.

However, the idea is sound.
