Quest (Hewsons)

#1 Post by Doreen B »

Has anyone been able to complete this game.

It's a spectrum game.

I think if I remember - I am having problems finding the parcel with the bracelet in, and something to with a picture.

Any help to finish this?

You'll probably be done by the time I start, but I'll join in when I can.

What's all this with the "something solid"?

And how do you map with no objects>

Can you get me started? Yes, I have the hints, but have as yet found no objects I can get.

Start on track:

W – (inside hut – there is something solid here?) – GET LAMP – LIGHT LAMP – LOOK – GET PIECE (gold) – GET SWORD – GET BREAD – EAT BREAD BUY BREAD – EAT BREAD – STATUS (find out your strength etc) – E – E – S
S – E – S - GET PIECE (there is a spider here, it may kill you before you can get the piece SAVE game before entering location) – N – W – W – W – W – GET PIECE (there is a hobbit here SAVE game before entering location) – E BUY MAGICZAP (I have no idea how you know that is there to buy!) – E – N
N – N – E – E – E – CAST MAGICZAP AT RAT – KILL RAT WITH SHORT SWORD (repeat KILL till the rat is dead)

SAVE GAME HERE…TO PRESERVE YOUR OIL IN THE LAMP – DROP LAMP TO SWITCH IT OFF, THEN GET LAMP – ONE SUGGESTION IS TO KEEP THE LAMP UNLIT TILL YOU SEE ‘DANGER LURKING’ or ‘SOMETHING SOLID IS HERE’ THEN LIGHT IT TO SEE WHAT IS THERE, THEN DROP LAMP TO TURN IT OFF.

I noticed I had 2 gold pieces. But doesn't one need 1 to go past the troll. Does it cost 2 to buy Magiczap?

I really don't like these guessing game.
