lighthouse

This is by Philip Riley with help from Barrie Eaton.

I have managed to light the lamp in the lighthouse, now I need to find the treasure and escape.

I have not found the wooden leg to give to the ghost of long John Silver- this will open up more locations.

Any joy anyone?

I have found a solution out there for Lighthouse Mystery. Do you want it?

That seems to be a different "Lighthouse" game, in which Barrie Eaton was also involved.

Lighthouse is completely different.

According to the source code (it's BASIC), the wooden leg is in:
YOU ARE ON TOP OF THE ISLAND. YOU CANNOT SEE MUCH THROUGH THE THICK MIST THAT SHROUDS THE ISLAND.
Which seems to be a maze location.

Thanks Dave
but I have fully mapped the top of the island area, it is a 5x6
area with some stones at the nw corner and a ladder found in another location and the steps leading back down into the caves.
There is also the door to the lighthouse...

But nothing else.

Sorry I misinterpreted the location list (that room is where the ladder is).

The wooden leg is at:
YOU ARE AT A DEAD END. YOU LOOK ALL AROUND BUT CAN FIND NO OTHER WAY TO CONTINUE.
This seems to be at the end of a north-south corridor behind an iron door.

Well at last I have finished...

I had to retrace all over the game and try every possible exit...

There are 2 iron doors, one you force with the crowbar and the other you unlock.

It was just me missing an exit...

Easily done with this game, it consists of passages, tunnels, cave, and caverns, and dead ends.

Thanks for the help Dave.
