If anyone wants to join in...

Terri - I will give you chance to catch up if you want to play.

Just to say I have given Rudolph some biscuits and he transported me to a spiral spire section, I find a gemstone here but nothing else, and no way back to Santa's grotto.

What to do now?

You are way beyond me.

I am at the area of the palm tree. There are three places where I die: at the trap, at the bank of the river, and at the chasm.

I'll continue to plod along, but hints would be helpful.

What kind of disguise?

What to do at the cracks in the wall?

You need a magic carpet for the chasm

Dress up as a wizard.

You need dynamite for the cracks.

Forget the river/trap area.

Did you get into the kings palace near the start?
The guard blocks the way? The answer is to try to find a man in the streets and find out what he's whistling.

Yes, I got past the guard and have the rug.

I have tried various words, with the carpet at the chasm, but haven't found the right one yet.

Since I can't yet dress up as a wizard, does that mean I need to cross the chasm first?

And I will get some dynamite somewhere?

SIT ON CARPET - for the chasm, this will open lots of locations where you will find the disguise, and dynamite.

I am plodding along.

How do you follow Santa? I had to go back and get the meat and seeds, as there is a limited number of objects one can carry.

It's a challenge to decipher the verbs here. Who would know to "plant" the dynamite?

I didn't follow Santa after giving him the sack of toys, you will come across him again in his grotto.

Have you been swimming in and at the bottom of the reservoir yet?

I agreee with the frustrating find the 'verb'

You said you had the meat so feed the meat to the hyena...

I figured that out as soon as I posted you.

Anyway, where you are stuck. I presume you've explored the area before giving Rudolph the biscuits as you need the objects you find there. Use the spell scroll again when you are under the roof. The rest is pretty straightforward. The rusty lamp is unnecessary.

I've finished this. I'll write this up if you write up Zaar. Or I can do both if you wish - you first author.

Well done for finishing...

Have sent Jacob the solution to Zaar.
