Time Traveller 2

#1 Post by terri »

Couldn't find Time Machine so decided to play this with Doreen.

Yo, complex (and tedious mapping). But now that I have a few objects... At least the puzzles are logical.

Need to find the desert, but so far, a touch slow, but workable. Better than the past few games.

Missed Jacob's update. So Fish will be in the next go round.

A suggestion for those who wish to play: Gather all the objects you can (max 5) in order to map. It's easy to think you are in the same location you visited before, but you are not. As I had mentioned, mapping is tedious.

You can also look at the .dsk file using OPEN - WORDPAD. It allows you to see the connections between rooms, though I will admit it is tedious and time-consuming and often frustrating.

However, most of the objects you find, you should know to whom to give it. It's a step-by-step issue, but Dave, you won't have to worry about "illogical" puzzles. A tad boring maybe, but eminently playable.

I had to restart almost from the beginnning as I missed an object.

Dave - don't "crack this" until we ask you to (I am speaking for myself - not for the rest of the players). I hope to slog through this.

It's a treat not to have to figure things out which you don't know where this idea came from. Great for us plodders.

Please be patient with me - I have a dinner party tomorrow and I have to clean the house, not to mention cook.

I have managed to finish the game but with only 260/280 points.

I will wait Terri just to se what you get.

I have had this game for yonks and just came across the orb which I had missed by accident. So from there it was quite easy.

Well, I am not quite done. Seems like a need a copper key to open the temple door in the desert.

I have the iron bar. Where is it used?

The copper key is found in yet another temple beyond the lake.

From the peasant - go W - N - SWIM LAKE - N - W - S

You will need the bar to force the door.

By the way I have just completed Time Traveller 3, by the same author.
I enjoyed playing this one - well worth playing. :D :thumb:

I have downloaded some more amstrad games

Fantasy Land
Kingdom of Zaar (again by Barrie Eaton)
Lighthouse
Phoenix

I am sure I tried that.

Is FORCE the correct verb?

Decide which one you are playing next and I'll join you.

Force door with bar - that's what I have put in my notes.

Lets try Kingdom of Zaar...

Let me know if you can't download it.

That location can be reached in another way also.

I finished it. Not all that bad a game, though lots of mapping and retracing is needed. I'll leave Part 3 to you.

Will you be writing a solution, or should I retrieve my papers from the recycle bin?

There is a solution floating out there for Lighthouse, but have not found the other three.

Yes I have downloaded all 3 games, so will try Zaar soon.

The solution to part 3 is already with CASA.

Will see how we get on with Zaar.

I will write the solution to part 2 if you want, but I cannot remember how I found the orb...
