BBC game of old

#1 Post by razors »

I have a very vague recollection of a text adventure game for the BBC. You approach a castle or a mansion at the start and you have to remove a brick from the surrounding wall to reveal a rusty lever which opens the gate when pulled. That is about all I can remember. Does anyone know what it was?
Dave, as the BBC king have you ever encountered this? Sorr for the very minimal information.

Doesn't strike any bells; though I've mainly been doing BBC text adventures at the moment.

I'm currently working on Gideon's Gamble (Superior Software); though it is a bit annoying as it has lots of invisible stuff and things that solve puzzles because it's the right item and there is nothing to indicate what should be used.

Just as an update I've just completed Gideon's Gamble; and I'd say about it: "Don't bother"; it's too illogical and the end bit goes really mad on the mapping.

The last puzzle is trying to find out which exact combination of objects gives you a score of exactly 200 points. Going over doesn't work!
