Sorry, but it's several years since I completed this game and I did not write down a solution.

I was wrong in the location.

The power unit can be found in the maze going down from the marketplace. Once again, a location that is not obvious.

So, Geoff, I gather you do not want to play it again in the hopes that something will comes back to you?

Terri, since I'm going off on a week's vacation from tomorrow on, can I persuade you to leave the game until I return? I think the power unit is an important discovery, and I'd like to be part of the solution for the rest of the game.

Hmmm... I can't work out how to get the robot out of the dark subterranean passage?

Also, I'm lazy - can somebody pass me the routes through the mazes?

Just GET the robot and exit via the ladder. I have mailed you the maze map.

The ladder leads to a deserted street with only the phone box and the disused shop present - have I missed an exit somewhere?

Ignore that - found it!

I believe I may have found the nasty trap that we're all stuck in.

We have all bought the batteries to power the scanner. But you can use the power unit to do the same thing, thus allowing you to use the briefcase. Then we can use the wire on the briefcase to get the ebonite rod.

Okay, I'm now stuck on getting the blueprints out from the secure area. I can open the doors, but they only stay open for about 4 moves.

Jacob, you've said that you've got the blueprints out of this area before - how did you manage it?

Ah got it! If you enter the monolith room with the computer it refuses to help you again. So just drop the computer before the monolith room, grab the blueprints, pick up the computer and "help" again.

One last note:
'Congratulations!' it says. 'You're going home at last'.
You have score 100 points out of a possible 100.
Take this opportunity to give yourself a well-deserved round of applause !
Yep; I've beaten it. Once you've got the blueprints, it's pretty straight forward!

Ah, that was the missing bit. Anyway, I'm writing up a walkthrough and doing a map, so you two don't have to :)
