I downloaded this and two other adventures from WOS they are by Sword Software and come in a compilation tape.

I finished one called Castle Morcan
and the other is called Grimalkin??

Havn't got very far in this - I need to be able to get a gold key out from the middle of a diamond!!

Any help anywhere?

You don't need to take the key out of the diamond. The diamond itself unlocks the door. It is needed down in the well.

I remember my problem with this game. The order one needs to do things is important and I haven't got it right yet.

You can get out of the well by waving the feather.
You can also get out of the well by unlocking the door.
You can swing across the rope to cross the pit (and back again). Once you use the rope to get the pole, that's when you need another means to cross the pit.
You can also eat the egg and then cross the pit.
The problem is getting these things done in the right order, as you can't get back in the well after you've unlocked the door.

So, I am going around in circles right now, and will wait for someone to help me out (you, maybe?)
