Re: Perry Mason: The Case of the Mandarin Murder
My logical intuition is pretty much at an end at this point. Has been for the last couple of days. I'll make a systematic sweep and send the guy to investigate all sorts of things, note down relevant things returned, restart repeatedly to send him elsewhere and then optimize in one go.

Re: Perry Mason: The Case of the Mandarin Murder
Alrighty, I got the confession. Quite honestly, I would not have guessed this. Even though I have triggered it, mechanically speaking, I did not even remotely have the knowledge of what was the suddenly disclosed to me. Admittedly, I'm sure getting the player on the right level of detail for such a scoop would be extremely hard.
Anyway, overall, I had fun. This game certainly tried something quite different from the usual treasure hunt fare. Not 100% successful in all respects. The parser certainly is problematic to address abstract topics such as prevalent in this game. On the other hand, I very much like the to-the-point writing. No needless blah blah, but nevertheless stylistically pleasant to read. Happy to have made this acquaintance
