Maybe I didn't wait long enough at the ship?

OK - so I figured out how to get the ship to move. However, I seem to have a problem carrying everything I need to get off the ship. I need all the objects (the grain to give the birdman), the mouse at the giant's, the card at the gargoyle. However, don't I need the key to get past the locked doors?

Before you are washed ashore there is no chance to get what you dropped. There is a cave. Saying "whoops" takes me back to the marsh area. So do I redo everything here???

There is also the wreckage of the ship (I thought maybe I would find the objects I couldn't take with me, but I can't seem to do that.

So I am missing something.

Thanks for that 15 angle. I wouldn't have got that at all.

When on board the ship drop the card and key,

Find the grain but leave it there.
After the storm you should find your items in the ships wreckage at the cove.

So from dry land - go w w s n w w s to the cove.

get card/key and grain.

All this talk about a ship, and pirates, and wreckage...I haven't come across anything remotely resembling those things. I'm still wandering about the map with a card, sword, talisman, catapult and oil - having already dropped the jar and located (but left in place) the wax and mouse. Truth be told, I have no idea where to go next or what to do at the well/quicksand/crack in cave/insects in desert/eagle at cliff top/or knee-deep in water in the cave. Help needed

Amby,

The pirate ship is beyond the eagle at the cliff top.

'kill eagle' I think you need the catapult here.

As I said in previous message my hints say get key/card at the wreckage.
There is no search....etc must have been just there.?

I didn't want to tell you something wrong - so I've just replayed the game.

The items needed to carry to board boat - key/mouse/talisman/card/wax

search cases in the hold to find grain. Then drop the key and card here in the hold.
When wreckage is at the cove - your 3 items are here - key/card/grain.

Would you believe that leaving them in the hold and not on top came to me in the middle of the night?

Amby - go down the well.

Keep going. It works eventually.

I am at the Dark Lord's with the talisman, but nothing seems to work here.

I hope your talisman is not 'blemished' or 'tarnished' by the wraithes taking it.

A good clean might help.

The eagle is random at killing you. Keep trying.
