Beware Collaborators

#1 Post by terri »

I am stuck in this game. It's a Spectrum game available on W of S. There are two versions, one for the 48 and one for the 128. They appear to be essentially the same game, with the same locations, just more descriptions and HELP available in the longer, 128 version.

Where I am stuck is I cannot find a helicopter.

Warning, this game has chance elements, so if you don't like that kind of game, "beware". I'd appreciate some "collaboration" in this - pardon the play on words. :)

I have yet to find a helicopter but I have made a little progress with the astronaut with

GIVE KEYCARD TO ASTRONAUT
SAY TO ASTRONAUT "HELP ME"
SAY TO ASTRONAUT "FOLLOW ME"

Also I have found that you cannot WAIT more than once in the presence of the astronaut.

Yes, I was able to do that.

But even if you "have" him, you still need to find the helicopter to get the ID.

I think he needs to be "taken" later.

PS Thanks for the help

After moving from the lake area north of the waterfall to the old, rickety east-west path, is there any way to get back to the starting locations? There does not seem to be any reason why this path should be one-way.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. It's countdown time at the schools and I have been very busy.

No idea why there is a one-way path south-east from the entrance back to the path, when it's only one more step to go south-west, then east to also get there. Going north-west from the entrance takes you to the dining area, etc. and eventually to one of the helipads.

Anyway, your question. Go west from the waterfall. You get to the lake, go southwest, west, climb the ladder, and you are back in the reception area. I don't know if one needs to do that.

Hope that helps.

Apparently there is also a prisoner somewhere, by the corpse, but I can't get into that area, until I have an ID card.

Thanks for plowing along with me on this.
