This may be coincidental, but there is a pattern in the numbers. If 101 is thought of as a binary number, where 1 means use and 0 means don't use, and that is applied to the second and third number, then the remaining digits are the fourth number. If this conjecture is true, then the game may set flags when you find the earlier numbers and won't let you use the last number until the flags are set.
The game did use flags to open the safe, but in a different way. I managed to find the code by comparing the changes of the memory locations after turning each number on the safe. Turned out the roll of the die (6279) was the correct combination but before turning the number you had to type TURN DIAL to make the dial spin around to 0.

The correct way to open the safe is:
TURN DIAL (the dial spins around a couple of times and comes to rest pointing nought), TURN DIAL TO 6, TURN DIAL TO 2, TURN DIAL TO 7, TURN DIAL TO 9 (As soon as the dial reaches the nine a loud click! is heard and the safe springs open).

Unfortunately it is not possible to do this during the game due to the bug which prevent you entering this room. At least nice to know how this puzzle should be solved.

This game was certainly never spell checked or proof read at all; I have come across numerous spelling mistakes and other more flagrant grammatical errors. In one location description some green heart shapes appear amongst the text and I have just stumbled across a "Foulded (sic) Landing." Fouled of course.

The wooded area with the pixie is one I still can not reach. It seems there has to be some other way to get there.
Actually I do know how to reach the wooded area it's already indicated on my map :)

I've changed my map a bit and uploaded it.

I've found the plastic bag :D I have located all objects now. I'll make a list of the problems still to be solved.

It's like Catacombs in that pressing F5 brings up the "examine all" command - unless you change it by pressing F6. (F1, F3, and F7 also have built in commands that can be changed with F2, F4, and F8 respectively.)
Thanks. I did not know about the f-keys.

Problem needed to be solved to finish the game with maximum score:
-How to enter the underground area without using the golden card or the dispel illusion spell? For now I only can enter it once, but when I use the elevator going up I don’t know how to return again to the below area.

At the moment I know how to get 660 out of 740 points.

Other questions not necessarily needed to solve the game:
-What to do with the grating in the culvert or is this just scenery?
-While in the elevator down, should you put something in the alcove?
-What is the use of cutting the snake in half? It doesn’t kill you if you take the rod.
-Something to do in the dungeons?
-Should you do something with the compost?
-What to do with the green bottle filled with water?
-I understood from the game code, the pixie will steal an object sometimes. I know how to prevent this by giving him a certain object, but while I played the game the pixie never stole anything nor was the door to the treehouse locked. Does anyone have a different experience with the pixie or the treehouse door?
-What is the use of killing the rat and taking it?
-What to do in the fungus forest? You can eat the fungi but it does not seem to do anything and the only interesting locations seems the one with the tower.
-I guess the tree in the rose garden is just a trap. The jewels are not a treasure. The same counts for the gold coins in the fountain.

I guess everything else has been solved.

I managed to enter the magic room from the wedge room. The only room I did not manage to reach form the wedge room now is the guard room, but it is empty and not very important I guess.

You can also use the levitation spell to enter the tower room from the Fungus Forest, but then you can't take the box from the fountain.

Just managed to get rid of the troll.

Yes, I can solve the game :D

But not with all the treasures. I still don't understand how to enter the underground area without using the gold card or the dispel illusion spell. If you want to leave the treasures in your cottage you have to repeat this a few times, but when I use the elevator up I don't know how to get back to the area below.

I wrote a walkthrough and wanted to upload it, but I just discovered how to re-enter the underground area. This means I can now solve the game with 700 points leaving the treasures in the cottage.
I only have to find a way to get the last treasure to the cottage to become a "demi-god" and have all 740 points and then I'll re-write my walkthrough.

Not so hard after all solving this one, it only took me a week

Edit: Unfortunately still having trouble getting the treasures back to the cottage. Will look into it soon.

For now I have uploaded the walkthrough without taking the treasures to the cottage.

I assume the solution is in using the levitation spell to enter the tower from the fungus forest instead of using the gold card. Problem is sometimes you can use the spell more than once and sometimes the spell is used up(gone from your spell book).

Another problem I still do not know how to return to another location (above ground or inside the underground area) after taking the gold card. It should not be put inside the slot , because you get 40 points for taking it to the cottage.

Hopefully someone will come up with the solution and we can complete the game with all 740 points.

Did you manage to put anything in the plastic bag? I have just found it but, even when open, it says every object will not fit.

Oh, now that seems like a definite bug - the same one that was in "Witch Hunt"!

I did wonder if there was a spell that you cast to get it to carry things but I guess not. You can wear it and suffocate yourself however!

Another howler - if you are by the stone fountain and try to use the purify water spell you are told "I can't see any water here." My, I never knew pirahna could breathe on land.

Sometimes having a plastig bag is better then being without one :) I gues you will understand when you need it.
