I'm just adding your Death Satellite updates now... Regarding your comment on the "broken screenshot" on that page... we are aware of that... it's part of an ongoing issue with screenshots. In the past, I've been flagging these up so they could be fixed but they're being left as they are at the moment (although I'm still adding them to the list to sort later) as they're being used to try and identify what's causing the issue.

I checked auraes' 'Land of Sorcery' listing. It had a couple of typos, which I've fixed. There was also a bug fix for line 350 in Sega Computer, July 1986, p. 2.
So, maybe I should remove my link to LoS.zip or embed the changes in it to prevent erroneous or incomplete files from being propagated.

Forbidden Zone
(more research needed)

Four parts... "Stranded in Space", "The City of Doom" and "Bandits Galore", and the unreleased "The Final Conflict"
Text adventures??

Released on the Sc-3000 Survivors Facebook group, I don't use facebook so somebody grabbed them for me and I have no idea if I am allowed to repost the files so just go there and grab them.

One game requires a password and one I have no idea how to play, none of the commands does anything except Look.

Yes, Garry grabbed the files and produced screenshots for the database. I think he may have made a little more progress in the games. ;)

I haven't played those ones yet. I see from the YouTube video and Craig Whitmore's screen grabs on Facebook that part 2 has a title screen and welcome screen that aren't included in the version that I've got. Mine is a disk image, not a cassette image, so I suspect that I'm missing the files from side 1 of the cassette. Can you tell me where you got yours?

For 'The Forbidden Zone Part 2: The City of Doom', I did not get asked for a password, but this might be because I am missing the files from side 1. If you do get asked a password, this is given to you as decimal ASCII codes at the end of 'The Forbidden Zone Part 1: Stranded in Space'. It decodes to 'BISCUIT'.

To get started in part 2, all input is in lower case and directions must be typed as north, south, east and west. There are no abbreviations, but you can use the arrow keys to move around. You can also use 1 for look, 2 for get, 3 for enter, 4 for jump, 5 for talk, 6 for climb and 7 for drink. If you get stuck, the main vocabulary is listed in the DATA statements in lines 30015, 30025 and 30035 of the BASIC listing.

Hints: Not all exits are listed, so try them all. However, some lead to instant death. Not all objects are listed, so try look in every room. However, this may also cause instant death. The game is quite buggy. You can't take an inventory in all rooms. If you get killed and restart, it doesn't reset all the strings, so your inventory appears to stay intact.

In case you are still stuck, here's enough to get you across the great lake:
west
look
get
east
east
jump
look
get
climb
west
north
give
jump

I played 'The City of Doom' today and uploaded a map and solution. It will be available as soon as one of the admins gets around to it. That should only be a day or two.

Could you possibly upload the files again, please? The system doesn't like commas in the filenames.

Since when? I've been uploading zip files with commas in the file name for years. There are no commas in the file names once the're unzipped. Anyway, I've renamed the zip files and uploaded them again, so see how that goes.

I've no idea. I remember that we had issues with a bunch of zipped screenshots you uploaded with commas in the filenames in October last year.

Apparently "the backend uses comma as separator between input argument name and value".

(To be clear, it's the commas in the filenames of the zip themselves, rather than any in the zipped contents, that causes the issues).

No unsurmountable problems here, the only issue is that filenames with spaces get chopped off at the first space but it's just a matter of renaming the file (either before or after downloading).

Your higher level of access might allow you a little more leeway with processing them. I was unable to even download them, without getting server errors.

It sounds to me like I should avoid commas and spaces. That's no big deal, so long as I know. I'll try to remember to rename the zip file before sending.

To the archive (https://solutionarchive.com/) so that the map and solution can be added to the entry for this particular game - https://solutionarchive.com/game/id%2C9 ... C+The.html (scroll down to the "Resources" section).
