Mission Adventure

#1 Post by jgerrie » Sat Mar 18, 2023 2:09 am

Anyone heard of this French adventure?

1 REM ====<MISSION AVENTURE>====
2 REM Auteur : MICHEL BRASSINNE
3 REM Jeux & Strategie numero 29 - pages 44-48
4 REM Reprise : DOMINIQUE RIOUAL
5 REM Version : 1.0 du 17/12/2017
6 REM 1.1 : 16/09/2022 - Corrections avec VSC

Is it in the database? The name is under authours in the search function, but it doesn't bring anything up. Is it worth translating to English?

The only games I'm aware of from Jeux & Stratégie are 'Nordal le Magicien' and 'La Route de Samarcande'. Both are role-playing games for the Amstrad CPC written by Michel Brassinne. I couldn't say whether 'Mission Aventure' is worth translating.

It's from an article on how to write adventures by Michel Brassinne. It looks like it's worth translating. However, the version you're looking at is a revised version written many years later. You would have to compare the two versions to see the scope of the changes.

Thanks Garry,

I'll give it go. Not too worried if it's absolutely original. Just looking for some code to convert. But I will take a look at the original article. Thanks again.

Completed the translation of Mission Adventure to English. It is rudimentary, but interesting. Added a graphic image to it just to spice things up a little... in keeping with its lost WW2 gold theme.
