Almost no game from the mid 1990s on has got a company which published it - only an author. Problem is, there is currently no way to set the non-existence of a company for a game. It always stays at "?", as if there is something still to find out. That doesn't look good on the games list and the game overview page.
Two possible workarounds/solutions:
- Define a 'company' called '-' which can be used for these games (easiest, but probably not the best solution).
- Introduce '-' as a special setting for the 'company' field (on code level, without defining the 'company') and if that is set, display the 'author' field where 'company' can usually be found (i.e. on the lists and in larger font on the game overview); a little more work, but not too hard to do any probably worth it.
What do you think?

Re: Conceptual question: companies
I'm definitely in favour of #2 - this would elegantly solve an issue, where I've decided to enter the same name as author AND company for a substantial no. of games.
