Re: Any French Speakers on here?
There's also Le Manoir d'Alba which looks like a graphical text adventure, but may just be a random dungeon game. Unfortunately I'm running up against the language barrier. I've tried it: it's a graphical text adventure (the parser understands at least "REGARDE" (look at), "PRENDS" (take), and a fe...

Re: Any French Speakers on here?
Caverne aux Lutins There's a game called La Caverne des Lutins (for the Victor Lambda computer) which, according to the review (pages 13 and 14 ) in the September/October 1982 issue of Tilt , is a pure text adventure in French with a parser. I don't know if it's a translation or not, though.

Re: revision MSX games
And on the CPC Power website, I've just found a second source: an advertisement for the Micro Programmes 5 publisher which does say the game Dernier Métro is for "AMSTRAD, MSX, ORIC"!

Re: revision MSX games
you got me puzzled for a while because I was the one who updated the screenshots on casa for this game and I did make them from the Amstrad. But fortunately I solved this little problem: If you answer "Non" to the question "Désirez vouz savoir dans quel galere vous vous etes fourre(e)?" ,the first ...

Re: revision MSX games
I've been revising all the MSX games in the database and found some games listed which never have been published for the MSX: Adventure Without a Name Bomb Scare Curse of Volcan, The Hospital Adventure Zauberschloss Dernier Métro, Le I guess there has been some misunderstanding when I send the solu...

Re: About the platforms/Japanese games
I confirm that many Infocom games were released for the Amstrad CPC: you can find them on abandonware sites, and they were often mentioned in old UK Amstrad magazines (for example: Amstrad Action issue 5 and issue 20 ). It's likely that they used the CP/M versions, but anyway, they weren't the same ...

Re: Any French Speakers on here?
I still don't know the original platform for Sorcellerie , but I edited the page anyway. I also added two other text adventures by the same author (on Apple II), although it's very hard to tell if Le monde des sorciers is just a port of Sorcellerie with a different title, a modified version, or a to...

Re: Any French Speakers on here?
LOCATE is the key here as all of the others can be found in Microsoft Extended BASIC of the early '80s. Thank you! :thumb: And indeed, there's a remark at line 130 which says that the "LOCATE X,Y" command moves the cursor at row X, colum Y. That makes me sure it's actually NOT an Amstrad CPC progra...

Re: Any French Speakers on here?
Well, I don't know what computer the game was programmed on, and they don't mention it in the magazine, as far as I can tell. When I look at the listing, I think it should work without any problems on an Amstrad CPC, so maybe it's that... but it could just as well be another computer with a very sim...

Re: Any French Speakers on here?
Your co-admin Eriorg speaks French, so he should be able to assist :) Well, it's unfortunate that I've not been here recently... If you ever need me again, you could try sending me an e-mail or PM. But I see you could find the answers without me this time! :thumb: Sorcellerie :This is the most inte...
