Solution, map, screen grabs etc. have been submitted. Knowing how fast submissions get processed, it should be available in about two months.
All online now ;)

Re: hi all

A bit late to the party, but a warm welcome from me as well :)
I'm not much of a collector, either - I'm afraid my shelf space is too limited (or at least fighting for space with movies and board games, and usually losing). Enjoy your stay here :thumb:

Sounds like a fun concept! I'll give it a spin as soon as possible.

Re: Who or what is "GAC user"?

I'm starting to think that "GAC User" is just nonsense and the ignorant are blindly copying bad information from other sites without checking its validity. Don't you love the internet? I don't know who you are referring to as "ignorant", but I don't like the way the term is thrown around. I know th...

Re: Genre Suggestions

I agree with your assessment, Alastair. I really think these pun-heavy titles are a genre unto themselves. But whether there are enough of them to justify a tag....?

Re: Competition Entries etc. (split from "Genre Suggestions")

A lot of ground to cover here, and I haven't had the time to reply until now. After all, all those speed IF games were entered by someone. You can choose which death to die here. We all have a limited amount of spare time to spend, and I'm truly grateful for each and every minute people decide to sp...

Re: Competition Entries etc. (split from "Genre Suggestions")

"Interactive fiction" = marketing term used in the 1980s by infocom. So hardly an good term to distinguish something from the "classic age". You know as well as I do that a lot of people like to distinguish between "text adventures" and "interactive fiction", no matter what the historical backgroun...

Re: Competition Entries etc. (split from "Genre Suggestions")

Jacob, you say you have to update the "about" section. Sorry, to what? I don't catch your decision. To make the site goal less ambitious in scope. Other than that, and encouraging people to spend more time on expanding what's already here, nothing is set in stone. Hopefully a few more users will wa...

This seems like one of these "damned if you do, damned if you don't" situations, and no matter what I say, there are people who are going to be unhappy about it. But I sincerely hope tha...

Re: Hibernated 1 Physical Edition

Very cool cover art! Any information on the game itself? Right here: https://solutionarchive.com/game/id%2C7666/Hibernated+1+-+This+Place+Is+Death.html And agreed - it looks terrific! I'm not a game collector any longer, so it's not for me, but this is really nice for those who enjoy having a physi...

Re: Duplicate games & games that should be deleted

I asked around at some point on what languages it would be okay to lump together, and thus ended up with Serbian/Croatian/Bosnian, and Slovenian all by itself. But whether that's right or not...? :)

Re: Duplicate Game - Eurorun

Hmmmm....WoS lists the game as coming in two language variants, Slovenian and Serbo-Croatian. From what I know, which admittedly isn't a lot, the languages are sufficiently different to warrant two db entries.
