Re: New 10-Liner BASIC Adventure for TRS-80 MC-10
It's already pretty close to 10 maxed lines, but there might be some room for minor improvements and tweaks so any feedback is welcome.

New 10-Liner BASIC Adventure for TRS-80 MC-10
Calling all classic IF BASIC game players!

Re: Another Classic Ported to TRS-80 MC-10
I've ported the Usborne book adventure "The Mystery of Silver Mountain" to the TRS-80 MC-10. Noticed in the walk through by Dorthy that she doesn't mention that you must MOVE RUBBLE after you make it to the stalactites room using the inscription directions. She simply has you go E once you get there ...

Re: Another Classic Ported to TRS-80 MC-10
Thanks for the walkthrough and the map. It helped me make sure that the version I ported to the MC-10 was free of bugs (both in the game and in the code;)

I've ported the game "Digitaya" from the VZ200 to the MC-10. Anyone played this one to completion? Any solutions available out there?

Re: Source for "Trek adventure" Robert J. Retelle
Thanks folks for all the help, especially all the stuff for dealing with Commodore BASIC. I was able to convert the source so it runs on MC-10, Coco and Dragon. And the walkthrough worked with no problems. Here's the proof:

Re: Source for "Trek adventure" Robert J. Retelle
Super. Thanks very much. I had managed to get XVice, and even load it, but was having trouble trying to print it out to a file (unlike the coco, C64 doesn't have a nice LLIST command).
The conversion process is a bit complicated to explain, so here's the ASCII file as an attachment. There are a ...

Re: Source for "Trek adventure" Robert J. Retelle
Yes Coco would be preferred. Or OSI because must of its BASIC programs come in the form of straight ASCII. Any chance you know how to get the Commodore into ASCII format?
According to the database, it's available for the C64, TRS-80, CoCo, TI-99/4A and OSI/Compukit. You can get the C64 version ...

Re: Another Classic Ported to TRS-80 MC-10
After some extensive bug testing of Demon Knight, the Dragon version that I ported, I can report some bugs that appear in the original Dragon version, which have now been eliminated in my MC-10 port. Reports of "looking" at certain objects or "examining" (I added this as a synonym for looking, as it ...

Re: Another Classic Ported to TRS-80 MC-10
Another classic ported to MC-10. "Demon Knight" originally for the Dragon 32 by ASP Sopftware. Now without the painfully slow graphics text rendering.
