Way to go:)

The Orient Express is standing majestically on Track 14 with Bandits and Snow ahead, on the journey from London to Constantinople.

Re: Skull Cave on the Sol-20

Thanks Dave. Any chance you can dump the assembly to a text listing. I might be able to pluck the locations descriptions and messages and then use a generic BASIC game engine and a walkthrough to create a work-a-like of the game in BASIC. I did that with Forbidden Planet... No worries if it too much ...

Re: The Orient Express, 1923 Another Classic Ported to TRS-8

Colin,

You can find my code on Github for the Micro Color BASIC conversion I made for the MC-10:

If I recall, the original Microsoft Basic version had some very special tricks meant to ...

Re: Another Classic Ported to TRS-80 MC-10

I have ported another BASIC text adventure to the MC-10, "Beneath the Temple of Zeus", from Softline Magazine Nov-Dec 1983. Originally in Applesoft BASIC. Map solution will follow shortly.

Re: Under the Temple of Zeus

Thanks.

I suspect it is the same game for the Atari 8-bits, but I can't get an emulator running for those systems for love nor money.
It can be a bit of a pain to get Atari 8-bit programs running because some programs need BASIC enabled and others do not. The disk image I found requires BASIC to ...

Re: Under the Temple of Zeus

Yes, I meant "Beneath the Temple of Zeus."
All I have is a listing from the Softside magazine, which I am converting (slowly) to MC-10 BASIC:

Here's another port from the VZ-200 to the TRS-80 MC-10: "Haunted Forest."

Under the Temple of Zeus

Has anyone completed this adventure? A versions for the Apple exists. I believe it was published in Softline Nov Dec 1983. I think there is also a version for the Atari, published in Page 6 Magazine. Just wondering if there is a walkthrough out there somewhere, to help me with the debugging of the ...

Okay. I have fleshed out the locations with mini descriptions. I think some of these might also act as subtle clues about what to search for. And all still in 10 lines and under 4K:)

Thanks for the feedback.

Yes. more synonyms would be nice. It might be possible to cram in one or even two more. If so, which?

Sorry about the basket trick and the fence one too. Had to have a couple of tough puzzles, otherwise it would be just too easy. Like you say, if I had space I could ...
