Yes, by poking into the code when something simply became TOO odd :)

And about the snake ... yes indeed, sometimes it kills you, sometimes you can kill it yourself. A good idea is to save(-state) one screen NEXT to where the snake is, and then just keep trying until you defeated it.
There doesn't ...

"What is it that gives Neptune his power."

??? The sea, ocean, waves, sun, water, trident, etc. but saying any of these things apparently doesn't work.

Sorry for "abandoning" you Juan, but the problem was that there was no reaction of yours between exactly THREE months ( Jul - Oct '08 ).

And since I really lost patience in waiting (sometimes my patience may be limited more than usual) I didn't bother to look in here anymore. Sorry! :o

But nice ...

Re: Ice Guardian

An Amstrad game.

I think it may be a GAC-written game.

I think I am about 1/2 way through. CLIMC LADDER is used very frequently.

I have only one of the tree objects so far.

Any takers?

How did you get past the broken bridge? Jumping only gets you killed and the ladder seems to be to short ...

And no, I have not succeeded in opening the stagedoor. Since there are other ways, in and out, this may be a "red herring location".

That stagedoor seems to be the same one that you can also see from the dingy alleyway.

I also wondered whether closing off the vent so the chloroform stays ...

If you listen at the rooftop with the valve open, the music reverberates. If you listen with the valve closed, it is muffled.

That might explain what the valve is for. It seems to open the shaft to the Phantom's lair.

One question is with the wool? When does one drop it down the shaft? Do you ...

This does not work if you have handcuffed the rings.

It depends on whether the organ pit is up or down. If you lock the rings without pressing the switch, you can still get back to the theater.

What about the ventilation shaft? Can one go up and down this?

I have tried quite a number of ...

I have tried to catch up.

I got into the phantom's lair, but how to get out and back into the opera house? I tried carrying the pin, using the wedge, dropping the pin by the door once you have opened it, etc. but to no avail.

You can handcuff the rings even though the game does not list them in ...

I accomplished that with the pick alone. I tried it with the boring tool as well, but it did not work.

Re: unknown planet

OK - I HAVE FINISHED IT...

Make sure you only 'lay tree' once at the ravine and once at the gulch.

This means that when you get to the walkway with the gap you can 'lay girder'

Hop you can manage it... :thumb:

Finished it as well, finally! It's very buggy. And the red herrings were legion ...

I seem to be in the same place as everyone else, though I have fixed the crossbow and loaded the bolt which no-one else has mentioned.

I did that. I even shot the rat with it (just for testing purposes.) The crossbow is very likely to be used with the Phantom. Figuring out how to trap him is the ...

I have been able to get past the branch and deep hole area by starting the game again and getting more directly to the point. Now when I reach the electrified fence and try to lay the timber it gives me yet another error message:

Memory full in 1130

This thing is full of bugs! And it seems they ...

Re: unknown planet

West side of gulch (north of the barrels) location - this is the location to 'lay tree' then go east.

South side of ravine 3 x north of your spaceship 'lay tree' here again.

That should open up the game for you.

Thanks for the tips.

Unfortunately, this game seems to be very buggy. I hit upon ...

As expected, I am having problems.

I downloaded the emulator recommendeed.

Razors had written something about XF25 to copy into the files. The help file suggested something like that too. What is this and where do I find it?

Terri, installing and running the emulator is not too complicated ...
