Played the game agian but this time I was killed inside the hold alltough I was wearing the medal and had the lamp burning. Strange..

So, which order do you do things?

I suppose the order until ...

Re: blue dragon - BBC game

I am not sure what to do next after killing the slug and exiting the cave. You go back to the first area. But this time there is no bird (the princess is free from the spell), and the galley still seems to be empty.

Somehow the galley should sail of to the harbour of an island "as though manned ...

Re: blue dragon - BBC game

The gem you get when you give the bag of gold from the casle to the dwarf which you can find in the location directly north on top of the beanstalk.

The first parchment is on the location right from the start. The other parchemnt you can find inside the caves below the well. When you take the ...

Re: blue dragon - BBC game

I just made it through the door. You need the gem to open it. Just type insert gem and the door opens. You enter the cave with the slug and the wraith.

To kill the slug you need the two magic words you encounter on the parchments and combine them to make a new one.

Did any of you find a way ...

Re: blue dragon - BBC game

A lot of things in this game are random. The knight is one thing. You'll encounter him in the location directly north of the start location. Just hang around untill he appears. Unfortunately a lot of other things also seem random like killing the witch and the orcs. One time I encountered a battle ...

Juan wrote:the above quoted reviewer mentions a "knight" which I also could not find on the earlier part of the game
Isn't this the knight who was enchanted by a witch and which gives you the very sharp sword as you break the spell?

... noteleks, which is skeleton in reverse ... I hadn't realised that (oh the embarrassment).
You're not the only one it took me some time to realize it :) .

I tried using the human parts to open the door but unfortunately no success.

I also thought it refers to a skeleton key, but I haven't a ...

Re: The Galleon c64

To get someone started:

To solve this game you have to play two brothers. Some tasks only can be solved by the barbarian Tongrak others need the magic powers of his brother Raernon.

Keys:

F3 Switch graphics on/off
F5 play with Tongrak
F7 play with Raernon
You can also switch between brothers by ...

Re: The Galleon c64

Could this be a musical key or note?

Good idea I tried to open the door with the lute and the tuning fork but it didn't work. I don't know what object to use from the objects list (see above) or if I've to do something else. What I understood about noteleks, which is skeleton in reverse, that ...

Gave it another try and just managed to finish the game and uploaded the solution. If you want to finish it without reading the solution just tell me where you're stuck and I can give you a hint.
