Sometimes I can go south past the wall but sometimes I get the message a wall blocks your way. Any idea?

Re: xanadu cottage

I gave it a fast look because unfortunately I don't have much time right now. Appears to be rather big with many mazes.

but first you need a light source. Which I have not yet found
It's not that difficult. Enter the cave and read carefully what is said about a lamp.

I assume you have to ...

I've added the solution of part two as far as I could get. I hope someone can solve the final two problems someday.

Re: Mystery voyage C64

Just solved the third part of this game. A lot of objects and rooms aren't needed to solve the game. Will add the walkthrough of this part.

Back to trying to solve the two problems of the second part I guess in order to solve the game completely:
-How to obtain the sword
-How to get the boat out ...

Re: Mystery voyage C64

Found my way into the castle!

I'm having trouble opening three doors.
-the oak door on the upper level of the tower
-the door east on the landing
-the iron bars in front of the jail

I found a jar of red liquid. Think I need this to corrode the iron bars in some way. But for now I've got to go ...

Re: Mystery voyage C64

The rag is indeed used to wipe something. Use it somewhere inside the cave to find the name of the man who lives in the old castle. If you speak his name the bridge lowers, and when you cross the bridge you encounter him. You have three turns before he puts you in prison and the game ends but I have ...

Re: Mystery voyage C64

If you give the three gold coins to the woman she gives you the old book. My problem is I gave the coins to the leprechaun to enter the maze. Did you find another way into the maze? And do you know how to leave it?

Just solved this problem. I'm now standing at the entrance of the castle but have ...

There is a hint at the end of it, if you give the woman something.

Re: Mystery voyage C64

The maze is long. There is a hint at the end of it, if you give the woman something. Where do you find the answer to the hint?

What hint because I also made it to the woman inside the maze but don't know what to do with her. I can't leave the maze. Didn't find a hint however.

Did you find the ...

Re: Mystery voyage C64

The object in the drawer seems to me to be an implement for finding water? Any idea where to use it? And what verb to use?

And what to do at the chameleon monster?

These questions actually are connected. To kill the chameleon monster you need the stone, the object from the drawer and a length of ...

Re: Mystery voyage C64

where else to use the ladder.

I tried to use it at the fountain near the rat but it seems to be useless. I thought maybe somewhere else a sword is hidden and the one in the rock is just scenery but didn't succeed.

I found another place to use the ladder allthough it isn't needed because there ...

Re: Mystery voyage C64

You have to type OPEN DRAWER. The difficulty is that when you examine the dressing table the drawer isn't mentioned.

Re: Mystery voyage C64

What are the nails for?
The nails are used to build something. You will need two objects more to be able to build it. But you don't need them untill you've got all five treasures.

Can you help me out a little more specifically what to do in the bedroom?
In the bedroom is a dressing table ...

Re: Mystery voyage C64

Back to eating beetles and crickets. Why would you want to squash a beetle first, then eat it? Messy. Not to mention how does one pick it up then? Catching it and cooking it somehow, I can understand.

I agree but in this game you've to squash it to prevent it runs away. Further on you'll find ...

Re: Mystery voyage C64

I thought that somehow shortcircuting the voltage in the library (with the nails) would get me the scroll but it doesn't.
You need an object which is located beyond the wolf to be able to get the scroll without being electrocuted. Killing the wolf is one of the first things you have to do to be ...
