Re: Eventyret c64 - How to cross underground river?
I just found another way to make a bridge, but that one also collapses when I try to cross it.

Eventyret c64 - How to cross underground river?
Recently I've been playing Eventyret a rather interesting Danish adventure for the c64. Although I don't speak Danish having some general knowledge of several languages and using Google Translate for the parts I didn't understand at all, I almost managed to solve all puzzles minus one. Almost at the...

Re: New Game from Jim MacBrayne
Interesting to learn about QB64. I have written a lot of programs in qbasic during one of my former jobs (not games) but wasn't aware this updated version existed.

Re: Cell of the Ridges zx spectrum
Agreed. To a certain amount it can be ok like for instance the puzzle on getting the knife. but this is a bit too much furthermore some puzzles are very far fetched and not made clear during gameplay for instance the command "carefully cut gargoth" would never come to my mind or how to leave the cas...

Re: Cell of the Ridges zx spectrum
The solution to some of these puzzles are made too complex for me. Not my kind of game, but at least I managed to finish my map .

Re: leotrope
I compared them and there is no difference concerning the obtained points. I guess it is not possible to get 100 points in the first part.
I don't understand why in this solution at the end you should WEAR IR because you needed that earlier to notice the yellow ticket.

Re: leotrope
Thanks! I compare it with our solution.

Re: Cell of the Ridges zx spectrum
The author's solution is included in the Leotrope part 2 solution in that zip file. Thank you, yes I noticed it, but first I like to try the second part of Leotrope without the solution. The author writes that cell of ridges was a lot better than Leotrope. That made me curious and that's why I star...
Re: leotrope
Thank you.
Yes I noticed that when I wanted to use unpaw to look for the missing points (with our solution you only get 75 points)

Cell of the Ridges zx spectrum
This week I started to play another adventure by Graham Burtenshaw, the author of Leotrope, called Cell of the ridges. I did not get very far. Until now I found the following objects inside my cell: -length of rope -glass box -bit of string -small stone -piece of fungus -thing like a hammer -small k...

Re: Starcrash - ZX Spectrum
Leotrope Part 2... is actually out there, together with a full solution by the author... It was included on issue 5 of Grahame's SAM Coupe magazine Enceladus. It can be played on a SAM using a Spectrum emulator... Technically, I guess, the snapshot could be extracted a dumped back onto a Spectrum.....

Re: Starcrash - ZX Spectrum
Unfortunately this is not uncommon. Several years ago we played a spectrum game called Leotrope here on the forum and as far as I know there stil hasn t been found a copy containing the second part.
