Duplicate Game - Eurorun

Eurorun seems to be in the database twice, namely...

https://solutionarchive.com/game/id%2C2786/Eurorun.html

https://solutionarchive.com/game/id%2C2787/Eurorun.html

I'm not sure if that's intentional?

Here's the corresponding Spectrum Computing page... https://spectrumcomputing.co.uk/index.php ...

Duplicate Game: Crash / Lost in the Desert

When trying to track down the author of Lost in the Desert (no luck yet... but I'll keep my eyes peeled when I read back through old adventure stuff) I noticed that...

8bitAG.com/info

As I haven't posted about most of this stuff on here, I thought I'd give it a quick mention.

As well as having pages about my own games & my homegrown adventure games book, my website also has a small collection of other stuff on it. I'm gradually adding more, with plenty of archive information ...

Re: "The Classic Adventurer" magazine

Yes, as well as appearing in issue 1 I've been looking through early drafts of the issues for Mark. The physical editions are pricey (mostly due to US postage costs) but are really nice... I've got all four issues sitting on my shelf.

Some really interesting (and new!) information in them. Well ...

Re: World of spectum and tipshop

They're both hosted on the same server iirc so if one is experiencing problems them both will.

Always nice to come across a Zenobi fan. :) John Wilson, of Zenobi, is still around and is actually writing new adventure games these days.

What games are left unsolved from your Zenobi collection, then?

Just a small addition to this.

Stefan's pages now include the DAAD system, including the recovered English-language files.

An old thread, I know, but Mark Cantrell (who wrote the YS articles referenced above) went on to create his own booklet containing PAW tips and tricks which can be viewed on the following pages...

AdvSys / Columbus & Atari ST Public Domain Adventures

I'm currently working my way through old Adventure Probe magazines to add and amend entries in the database.

These particular titles are a little out of my area of expertise, being Atari ST... so if anyone would like to take a stab at researching them, feel free! (Or else I'll come back to them ...

Re: I Dare You for the C64

(Regarding 'Use Your Loaf'....

CPC Power lists it as being related to the aforementioned The Antidote, which they've credited as R. C. D. Enterprise.

The author for Use Your Loaf they say is Edmund Spicer.

Now, we have that author in the ...

Re: I Dare You for the C64

Basically, the vast majority of the titles tagged Pegasus Software (aside from the obvious Tony Collins own games, like The Hermitage, Teacher Trouble, Corya etc.) will be conversions from another format.

For example...

Re: I Dare You for the C64

I notice that 'Use Your Loaf' is credited to Louise Wenlock now... that would be incorrect, I think.

To me, it looks like one of Tony's quick and dirty conversions of a game from another format (probably Commodore or Amstrad) as it credits R. C. D. Enterprises for the original game and Pegasus ...

Re: I Dare You for the C64

I'm not sure. It's possible Louise Wenlock could've been a pseudonym of Tony's... I've found no concrete evidence to confirm this... WOS hiding their permissions letters these days doesn't help... I presume Tony might have made some reference to "Louise" in his email.

She was certainly billed as a ...
