Having finished Aftermath (with Alex's help) I have run into some problems.
I get a boot error and/or it tells me I need to check my ROMS. I do not think they have changed.
It may have something to do with my anti-virus software.
Because of other problems I had to do a System Restore.
I ...

Re: aftermath (rich masek) atari game
No, I can't make a map. Mine are done in pencil too.
So, if you pm me your solution, I'll write some hints.

Re: aftermath (rich masek) atari game
I tried that, but it didn't work. How far out into "open space"? I dropped it onto the paved road, but I suppose I should have tried the vacant lot.
We'll see if that works. Yes, it did.
Thanks Alex. Do you want to write up the solution? Or shall I? I can write some hints if you do the solution ...

Re: aftermath (rich masek) atari game
I think I have powered the generator. Does is matter if the cell is not in the same room? Hence the long cable? But I don't know how to turn it on.
Since it's a solar cell, do I need to bring it out to the sunlight?

Re: aftermath (rich masek) atari game
My short-term memory must be going. I'm sure I tried that. But then maybe I didn't.
OK I did that. But I still don't know how to activate the robot. The keyboard doesn't respond. You cannot move the spool by yourself. Does one need to power the generator?

Re: aftermath (rich masek) atari game
OK - I've done a little more. I now have the capsule, papers and skeleton. Opened the hatch and found a tiny hole. Found a spool of cable.
How do I get the robot to move? I haven't found the computer, so I suppose I need to get in the room with the key slot. How to use the access code?
Thanks

Re: aftermath (rich masek) atari game
OK. I broke the fragments. But I still don't know how to break the window. Or to make it more fragile.make the window of the bomb shelter more fragile
I found the grate and all these other locations and objects. And have no idea what to do here.
Do I need to break the window first?

Re: aftermath (rich masek) atari game
OK - I broke the floor, but there does not seem to be anything in the sewer pipe. Or am I missing something there?
What do I do with the glass fragments? And where do I do it?
Still have not managed to get into the bomb shelter.

Re: aftermath (rich masek) atari game
And how do I do that? I have with me the amulet, the torch, the glass fragments, a mirror, a wrench, and a sledge hammer. I left the bird behind. And the lab book. You’ve to make an opening with an object.

Re: aftermath (rich masek) atari game
OK - later is here. I've explored further, and tied the rope to the banister and found a drain. Exploring in another direction, I found a dead bird, and a wrench.
Hoping I could break a window in the bomb shelter with the wrench or anything else I had, but that didn't work.

aftermath (rich masek) atari game
I have made some progress in this game. However, I am stuck in and around the junk piles trying to elude Kreb. I push the junk pile (that blocks a north route - going west from south of the dump - and going south from west of the dump), but that only slows him down a little. I tried dropping or ...

Re: Alice and the March Hare - Tatung Einstein
Good luck. I tried, even with Juan's help, and, in the end, I could not get it to work.
Have fun.
Yes, while it seems I have not been playing games recently, I am still alive and kicking. No one has asked about playing along a gamerecently, so I haven't been playing and posting.

Oh my goodness. Thanks for all that.
Far beyond my capabilities, I think. Way too complex.
Did all these instructions come with the game?

Re: Murder at the Abbey
Made a little more progress. If you just wait long enough, there are several phone calls. You must also revisit several people once you have a particular object.
Complicated.
