I remember trying this game before. I can't get it to run correctly on my emulator and have to resort to playing it online at WOS <sigh>...

assume this is the bus station. In that case, no, I have not received any message there. What do I have to do to get this?

It doesn't specify a type of station, only that is is at 2nd Ave and 90th St where "a man should approach with a message". This comes after opening the safe in the apartment ...

Please tell me you have solved this maze. All I've been able to do is scribble several pages of maps that make no sense, and find my self back in the midst of the gap through which I entered unable to crawl north or south despite what the description says.

I only have 4 objects to drop to try to ...

I am such an idiot! I kept looking for something sticky. Doh!

I created a working torch by combining the long stick + rags + oil with the matches of course.

I also got the string tied to the curved stick - I keep thinking that the hook should go with as well, ala a fishing pole - but no luck with ...

Ok, lets see..
It says that the blowgun and dart of of no use - as is the hypo
It doesn't even mention the statue or noisemaker
There is a situation very near the end of the game where you have to "Shoot Man" more than once so I'm assuming this is where you make use of the handgun??

Book says: Tell Guard, Al Clubs

Any other clues? The ones above seem to be from the very start of the game.

Yes, these are the first clues in the book. There are 15 or so more. It's hard to know which ones to give since I haven't actually ...

read telegram
turned on TV and changed the channel
visited the roof
gotten the safe combination
bought a newspaper
This was the order the book listed them in followed by
reading the newspaper and saying something to the guard at the Sizemore building

I haven't even figured out what else I need, beside the bag, to collect the gems...

I am pondering your clue "where are gems usually found"...

Working 12 hrs/day as of this week - which means I actually get a day off now...once chores are done I should actually have time to play some games <yipe>.
