Maybe you should revise Dorothy's solution and send that off to Jacob too?

I just need to figure out where to insert the missing axe parts into the current solution. Right now I'm working on tweeking the solution to Hedda Strikes Again - will tackled Hedda's Revenge next.

Thanks again for the ...

Hedda's Revenge

Has anyone finished this game? I found a solution at WOS c/o TipShop (compliments of Dorothy), but it seems to be missing the bit about where to find the axe to give to the workmen to get what I believe is the last of the missing trophies. I've been back to every location on my map and still cant ...

Haven't seen a Tinsel - but did run into a Trog (whatever that is).
Also, found a dark room west of the bottom of the stairs but can't seem to get my lamp to light and thus keep dying.
Me thinks I have not yet found the corridor with 8 exits.
I agree, we could use some help with the verbs for this ...

SW of the Broad Hall is that small room that leads up to the galley, yes? I can't figure out what to do there. Ditto the top of the stairs east of the Broad Hall. I've been there carrying the lamp but without the box.

No luck with the plant, spider, vinegar, droid or Golem...

I have a day off so I've played a bit....

Have lamp, bowl, weedkiller, soda and key and have been mapping as I go.

Is anyone else getting odd exit descriptions with things such as (cor!) in them?

Try Opera House for the Atari. No progress since the last message on that thread.

Okay, got this one working and have given it a quick look. So far I have more objects than I can carry and I am trying to get the lay of the land. Seems like everyone else is quite a bit further along in the game ...

Re: Castle Adventure (by B.M. and M.C Eaton - Amstrad)

Yes, it's the same room. Strange, mine says: "in a small room. It has a stone carving on one of the walls and in its centre you can see a sunken hole." No mention of its shape anywhere.

Interesting...different emulator or source file maybe? These old games always did feel to me like each one was ...

Re: Castle Adventure (by B.M. and M.C Eaton - Amstrad)

How did you get to see what shape the hole is? What command did you use? I have tried "examine" and it keeps telling me "don't bother!".

Perhaps we are not talking about the same room? Mine says "in a room with a stone carving on the wall. In the middle of the carving you can see a sunken square ...

Castle Adventure (by B.M. and M.C Eaton - Amstrad)

There are a lot of "Castle Adventures" but I don't see a solution to this one yet...

I'm stuck in the area near the torture chamber and the room with the sunken square hole in the middle of a stone carving... Managed to get the LARGE KEY by using the information from the scroll but I can't seem to ...
