Apparently turtles like to eat their fellow water dwellers.

And Harpies are afraid of the same thing that has driven more than one woman to scream and jump up on a chair.

Interesting information about the trident - makes me think of the barren field - must check this out.

I'm still struggling ...

Heading up in the dense forest should not only get you the mirror, but might also get you a way to the area north of the vineyard (although that object seems to move around a bit).

East of rabbit I get shadowy forest and then a barren field east of that.

Thanks for the info on getting the girdle ...

Up up and away in the dense forest for not only the mirror but also a ride to Mt Olympus..

There is something fishy about the turtle

Cool find Alastair - thanks!

Looks like my map is missing locations 67 & 68 only. Glad to know I'm on the right track there.

Still looking for a way to move the boulder - and the best way to deal with the Amazons.

I've been wandering the countryside, mapped about 50 or so locations and seen a few items. What I have not found, however, is a way to move the boulder blocking the cave. I'm assuming I need something to pry it with but so far, no luck. Has anyone come across something that might work?

Hey cool. I completely overlooked this one before. I'll give it a go. Just hoping the rest of the game isn't as loud as the intro was!

It really begs the question why someone who knows little about these things, keeps trying. Never having played these games in their original forms,

Same here. My only 8-bit computer was an Atari 800 so I am always at a total loss when it comes to emu'ing Apple, C64, Speccy, Amstrad, etc.
But ...

Grand Larceny

Ah - I have this game and my trusty C64 emulator - unfortunately I can't seem to get the PC to move. Perhaps my lack of joystick or equivalent?

re: the area west of the Tavern - buy everything BUT the knife.

There are more than a few tempting items scattered around in this game that you dont need - resist the urge to pick them up until you are sure you need them. Inventory management can be a nightmare otherwise.

I can't figure out how to ...

There is an easy advice: Go W (BOULDER WILL DISAPPEAR) so I tried many times to go through the boulder, but no success

I recently replayed this game so that I could make a map for CASA. It worked for me. I PADDLE W then when I got to the spot where it mentioned the boulder I just typed W and the ...

Get Lamp

This has probably already been discussed, but I just want to remind everyone here about "Get Lamp" - the documentary about adventure games. I have been looking forward to this since I bought this filmmakers BBS documentary.

Amby, at the computer, when you examine the dials you see a slot. You need to put money in it. Then I just typed in stuff, HELP got me that there is a pain in the diodes, HELLO got me another message, then I tried REPLACE COIN and it gave me a longer message about what to say - though I haven't ...

I have a depressed computer and various objects such as a medallion and a cup of coffee but am not sure where to go next. As far as I can recall I still haven't come across a/the Tinsel nor have I seen a Hippy or an Elemental. Nudge pretty please.
