I use ifmapper, it was built specifically for mapping IF!

its a ruby gem so you need ruby installed.

any way to stop the goblins killing me?

the sport room.. is it a red herring? 'i feel a small tremor' but i seem to stay in the same room..

cant seem to find anything to attack the goblin king with (yet)

I fired it up under dosemu, made it inside the cave system. I dont like the fact that I feel like I need to 'search' in every location. I took a cursory look at the dat file and its not a basic XOR encryption.

I might keep on trying the game depending on my frustration level.

in my school we used to play Dinosaur Discovery and Flowers of Crystal and I've looked for years for apple II disk images but to no avail..

your game description does not ring any bells for me.

nah i meant, julian really is just an ass. not his having to do with the columns demise. there is something about his name and that i associate uk gaming mags and him.. shrugs :) nothing personal hehehe

great work guys. I was a huge reader of C+VG and CU and have all the pages cut out of into the valley etc.. (not forgetting zap, ace, etc)..

some getting started help...

i use numpad as joystick.. anyway.

examine clock
then open panel

you can light the torch...

go forward
and
go back
are what move you in/out of doors...

you will get to the key later in the game (tho i dont know what use it is...)

i have made it so far...

cant figure out how to free the woman.. or wha to do next..

i smashed the window...

but if you open the coffin it crashes eh... if you drop the cross dracula appears...

i was poking around with the monitor in vice...
if you do an i 6d20 6d40.. you get the command list ...

the scary thing is the game only uses the first two letters of your command...

anyway, hmm.. it sucks there is no save but thankfully you can savestate inthe emulator...

so do i need to eat the garlic or wear it.. hmm i must investigate... and I will check out binding egor..

Bunyon v0.1, Scott Adams TI99 game interpreter

OK, the interpreter is now in the if archive, I've also uploaded the scott adams games 1-12 in ti99 format and Knight Ironheart, Colossal Cave and several others..

there is a win32 binary or if your on unix etc, you can build it (requires glkterm and ruby to build...)

its sitting in the /incoming ...

I had a look at ACE.. the only interesting thing is that it has some kind of html/ritch text display... beyond that.. ugh :( its worse than old AGT, still using numbers for everything. yuk yuk yuk.

on the other hand its very much like the scott adams stuff (when doing the processes/logic).
