Re: A question for everyone who has recently submitted information to CASA

(Also, this means you should now be linked to the right game page again after submission.)

Re: CMD Emulator for Android?

If it is primarily Infocom games, I recommend Son of Hunky Punk. It, too, is a Z- Code, TADS etc. interpreter, not a DOS emulator. Meaning it will go easy on your battery. For Level 9 games, use L9Droid. For less popular games, you will need to revert to a full emulator, of course.

The use of all ...

German Grand Prix

The information here is incorrect. It's not Speed IF, but rather the equivalent of the English IF Comp, the main rule being about game size rather than time to write.

The Grand Prix was held in 2011. Results are here: http://www.textfire.de/comp/ergebnis ...

Re: What games should we include?

I once wrote a piece of Speed IF ("write a game within three hours"), but I'm definitely not a fan of the format. In fact, I entered that game with the intention to show what can be achieved even in such a short time. Not in the way of being too clever for my own sake, but in ways of size and ...

Re: Thaumistry

Indeed, I did! In my view, a worthy successor to Zork Zero. At least gameplay-wise, the writing is not quite as sharp. The only thing is that I've grown quite tired of fantasy themes (which also makes me stay away from Thaumistry).

Seeing that I posted on the 3rd and yesterday was the 7th, I find this unlikely ;)

Thaumistry

You write:
First crowd-funded text adventure ever.
Surely Hadean Lands predates it by several years. Its Kickstarter campaign succeded in 2011 and although the game was delayed significantly several times, it was released in 2014.

Re: Small CASA bug / Upload File when not logged in

You mean you went to the upload page when you were still logged in, but the session timed out while selecting the file? Or does it actually send something without you ever having selected a file?

Re: Adventure Challenge

Folks, seriously. If you would be so kind to pay attention what I put in the top right corner of the hint picture. Even if the whole rest remains cryptic, this alone returns a list of only four games on CASA. Would be easy enough to guess from there if anyone were still playing.

Re: Adventure Challenge

Alright, another really easy one. Hint: the answer is none of the games from the Zork series or mythology.
