I have been able to get into an attic and don't know how to get out/down. Hints are appreciated.

Spectrum only?

I got the impression that the games discussed here are for the Spectrum only. Is this correct? Is it okay to discuss games for other platforms as well, like the C64?

Is anybody playing adventure games on other platforms than the Spectrum? I for one enjoy playing adventure games on my trusty old ...

Hooray! I've finished the game. I quite liked it but then again I have a weak spot for hardboiled and private eye stories. What did others think about the game?

(Hmm... I've got to find another one now that I finished this one... :) )

If anybody would like a solution to The Boyd File I can ...

Thanks for the help. Am I correct to assume that I should only take the two objects and can then leave the movie studio? The rest is just "for fun", even the studio boss's office?

Alastair, thanks for the info and the link. How did you know that I prefer adventures that actually work? :D

I'll be sure try out Peneless as soon as I solve Boyd File. Which genre is it by the way?

Talking about Boyd File, I would appreciate a vague hint about what to do inside the movie studios. I know how to get inside, but I'm not sure about what to do there (more than finding a couple of takeable ...

Gunness, I agree with you wholeheartedly (except being masochistic, I think :) )
Thanks for the welcome. I hope I can bring something to the forum as well.

Doreen, thanks for the concern. I appreciate that.

Alastair, that's also a good way to obscure spoilers. Highlighting to read the text is easy enough I think.

Terri, it's good to know I have challenges ahead of me. :) Thanks for the help so far, I have been able to continue. I would like to try ...

Thanks for the kind reply.

Those are good suggestions to hide spoilers you gave. The reason we used the X's is that they are easy to use. First you write the spoilers as usual, like this:
THIS IS A CLUE
HERE IS ANOTHER ONE
Then you press caps-lock and fill up with X's between every character ...

I understand that she was only helping you out and that you don't mind her spelling it out for you but, nevertheless, there was no way I could avoid to read the clear solutions to which I haven't even seen the problems. They will not be hard to solve when I encounter them the first time in the game ...

Terri, thanks for the help. I'll try out your tip and get back as soon as I solve more.

One more thing, are there any ways to avoid to blatantly give out spoilers in this forum. I could not avoid to read Doreen's "hints" to Terri, which might spoil the game for me if it turns out that I was able to ...
