Okay, since my time for playing this is rather more limited than I had anticipated, I'm going to need some help:
1. What, then, is the use for the jacket (a simple nudge will suffice)
2. Is there a bug in the game? If I wear the shell and then approach the grebe, the beginning of a message prints on ...

Well, just to throw in my two cents, I've played a few, too. However, the selection of good Amstrad-exclusive games seems fairly small?
Do you have any suggestions what games to start with?

Hej Torben,

Well, that's just one of the places I'm stuck in. I've tried every conceivable phrasing.

Some other points of interest:
1. What do I do about the bear? I've tried feeding it sugar and other things. But perhaps it's just a red herring? It's possible to reach this location from another (to the east ...

Crown of Mardan (BBC)

Has anyone played this game?
I've mapped a large part of it (I think), but I haven't found a weapon yet, and I'm getting rather tired of dying all the time.

If you mean his old games...

Pen and the Dark is up for grabs on Gamebase64.com

His early trilogy is currently unavailable, but I'm working on getting hold of it.

No, the question is perfectly fine, though I'm not all that well versed in the Apple II games. Hopefully some of the board's users know more than me?

The game can be found right here:
http://www.stairwaytohell.com/bbc/archive/diskimages/MP/SadimCastle.zip

And if you use the latest version of BeebEm, there's a Run Disc function which will handle everything for you.

I'll add a map and list of hints during the weekend. Hopefully it'll give you a ...

Hey, really glad you enjoyed it!

As for Julian Rignall, I don't think it was his fault in the end, though apparently he could have handled the situation a little better and allowed the column to end in a proper fashion.

Sadim Castle (BBC)

Has anyone played this one? It's actually rather good, even though the map is ever growing and the puzzle count isn't all that high.

I haven't managed to enter the actual castle yet. I've gone through the kitchen and discovered the ghost of lady Leonora whom I'm supposed to lay to rest. She exits ...

Can someone tell me where I can get the Sherlocks Holmes games listed below:

There isn't really a lot of choices as to what order one can do things in. By the way, df, I tried dropping the cross but Dracula didn't appear.

Anyway, I've contacted Gamebase64 to see if they can locate a better version. Anyway, knowing the other games of this type (African Safari, Sim Zala Bim ...
