Re: What happened to Lantern of D'Gamma

To be honest, I haven't played this game is EONS. If memory serves, it has to do with certain items OR there is something in the manual. You guys have the solution here in CASA. I just saw it. Looks like it has to do with mathematics or something.

Re: Trinity - anyone want to join in?

Trinity was a mind blowing game - made Wishbringer look like (nevermind). Brian Moriarty wrote this one and at the time I was only a teen and didn't have the "gumption" to finish it. Maybe it's time to try again. I remember the beginning was a bomb dropped and you ran into a "time portal" or somethi...

Re:

The news from 1999 ( http://solutionarchive.com/news99.php ) states that this is a list of updates for Druadic's site, unfortunately that site has either moved or is no more. Sorry about that guys! My site was destroyed by the server and so other sites offered to take my maps and keep them for me. ...

Re: Games everybody should know

I have "Jewels Of Darkness" which was a take off of The Hobbit by Rainbird. LOVE this game and STILL enjoy it. Too bad I can't find "Silicon Dreams" by Firebird for the IBM PC. I think I have the Apple // version though and have never had the heart to part with it! Plastic box, manual and 5.25 disk....

Re: BEST text adventure maker to use to REMAKE a game....

Hope to have this one done soon too; currently playing the game using Apple // WIN and typing all the commands, locations, items and etc to a text editor on the same screen. ;) Would Ciderpress http://ciderpress.sourceforge.net/ be of any help here? It may allow you to copy and paste the text rathe...

Re: Crystal Caverns, 1983 Hayden Software for the IBM PC

Currently, 80 rooms out of 140 are finished. I am currently in the process of purchasing ADRIFT and will finish this game for the IBM PC. I hope folks will enjoy it as much as I've had remaking it! Gunness, I recently ran across the "title screen" for Crystal Caverns. I have it if you would like it....

Re: Penguin Software / Polarware

Mark is a VERY kind guy and cares about the folks who enjoyed his games Gunness. I would ask. Believe it or not, I just ran across "Bouncing Kamungas" for the Apple emulator! Great game. I grew up on Transylvania, Crimson Crown, Coveted Mirror (Apple // only and that is a real shame), Oo-Topos and T...

Re: Penguin Software / Polarware

Penguin turned into Polarware. Trillium turned into Telarium. EOA turned into Electronic Arts. There is the original Penguin/Polarware website run by the man who OWNED the company. Google for it - of course he can no longer call his old company Penguin OR Polarware as he's almost been sued for the n...

Re: I was spyed!!

Get Avast! FREE antivirus. It will KILL everything you need removed and dare I say, it's FREE for 30 days? Check it out on Google. GREAT program - found 30 infected files on my system in under 2 minutes. When it's done, just choose to delete the files it found. BOOM - gone. Your system will run bett...

How about Brian Moriarty who wrote Wishbringer and Trinity? I'd LOVE to meet that guy! Marc Blank, Dave Lebling and all the others from Infocom! :)

Crystal Caverns, 1983 Hayden Software for the IBM PC

Crystal Caverns, 1983 by Hayden Software / Dan Kitchen is currently in the works for ADRIFT. A TON of work has gone into this and I hope to have this game done in a few months (I hope!) Unfortunately, this game was never released for the IBM PC....until now (soon!) I am using Apple // Win and playin...

Re: Forbidden Quest 1983

I have the art prints for this game if they're needed. I have sent them here but they are not up yet. They are needed to complete the game though.

I gave HOTU the copy for the IBM PC since it's extremely rare. Glad to see someone is playing this one!!!
