Mario Moeller, author of Dracula, was another of your compatriot iirc.
Oh wow, thats a name I've not heard in a long time! I remember playing The Dare after reading about it in ACAR, I believe Mario co-wrote it with Dorothy.

Wow. It would be nice to get those unreleased games. Were they finished?
Im not sure how finished or not they are. I've mostly done mermaid + crown and got stuck and not sure if I am in an unwinnable position. I need (time lol!) to check the others and see what conditions they are in.

Re: Planet of Death

Interesting. I want to say the bottom right trilogy version was included in the C64 'ProPack' set one of my mates had. I think I had all those versions you showed except the Pain version. ProPack might have been an Sustralia only thing too. I dont know.

I could have sworn but did not check that the blue/white was not quill/paw. it just played so badly, also it was so condensed that it really didnt need to be if it was quill/paw. anyway. I dont know If I rememb...

Re: Dorothy Millard

Dorothy was a great person, she was somewhat local to me (lived in the same city). I knew her through the Australian Commodore Amiga Review. I still have some of her letters here in my correspondance pile I've saved since I first started writing letters as a kid. She made a few games too, two I reme...

I dislike that large companies use it in effort to gauge interest instead of take a risk and believe in their own product.

ha I have done a few boardgames too, Salmon Run, Great Fire of London, Lost Valley, Conquest of Sperros, and bunch of tabletop RPGs. I avoid botique software (I backed wasteland2/etc, but I am very wary of software backing)
