Re: Dorothy Millard

Dorothy was a great person, she was somewhat local to me (lived in the same city). I knew her through the Australian Commodore Amiga Review. I still have some of her letters here in my correspondance pile I've saved since I first started writing letters as a kid. She made a few games too, two I reme...

Re: Phipps/Toms system

Re: New game from Ron Gilbert

I dislike that large companies use it in effort to gauge interest instead of take a risk and believe in their own product.

Re: New game from Ron Gilbert

ha I have done a few boardgames too, Salmon Run, Great Fire of London, Lost Valley, Conquest of Sperros, and bunch of tabletop RPGs. I avoid botique software (I backed wasteland2/etc, but I am very wary of software backing)

glad to see it funded. Ill probably pick it up once its out. I refuse to kickstart any software, too many overpromised failures.

Re: Scott Adams Ghost Town

heh from 2005? I think I wrote that post when I was writing my Bunyon interpreter that plays all the TI99 adventure files on a PC (I was playing the TI99 version of Ghost Town) and doing testing/debugging. best way of finding all the points would be to read the nice TI99 source http://mega-tokyo.com...

Planet of Death

I dug out Adventure A - Planet of Death for the c64, I have two versions an older version, looks hand written and the later Quill version. Neither version works with either of the two solutions in the archive. I've completed this before, maybe I need to write up a new solution. Most notably the 'use...

transylvania

Anyone know the differences, if any between the two C64 versions of Transylvania (1984 and 1985 variations). I know the company did a name change but I wonder if they did any bug fixing or changed anything else in the game. I only know of the moved cross but I wonder if anything else is changed. htt...
