Re: Lost or unreleased game you'd love to play
Shogoth (i misspelled the title in the post before) was an italian C64 text adventure which sadly never saw the light of the day. According to this interview to the game's author (in italian) the game was completed and was reviewed on the 25 issue of the italian version of Zzap (a popular C64 magazi...

Re: Lost or unreleased game you'd love to play
Text adventure wise, i'd really like to play Shoggoth for C64. The game was completed but all the official copies were lost in a fire and the programmer's personal copies have never been found. There is hope for a pirated copy to emerge one day or one another, but this is pretty unlikely to happen.

Re: Inner Demons
I'd like to ask two clues before asking for a direct help in proceeding in this game. 1)Have i used the "use rope" command in the basement too early because of a bug? After killing the demon inside the box you can't access the nursery any more. 2)How to access to the part of the house that scares yo...

Re: [AMIGA] Dark Obsession - How to get in the restaurant?
I've completed the game with a score of 230/250. The ending reminded me a bit Deep Red by Dario Argento. Was the ending inspired by it?

Re: Paranormal/Occult/Horror Themed Games
I'd like to reccomend a very good and clever, but a bit short, adventure game made using the AGS engine. It's name is downfall and it's a very psychological horror game. The use of the symbols and the imaginery is very good but be warned: the game is pretty gory and graphic, so if you don't like vio...

Re: Inner Demons
You can use the lamp's bulb to replace the burnt bulb in the bedroom by moving the bed and climbing it but i have absolutely no clue about the usefulness or the purpouse of this action.

Re: Inner Demons
I haven't managed to poison the meat or set the trap, but i've managed to get drunk (and hallucinating) by using the corscrew in the basement (you can find it in the kitchen) and to open the box in the basement (maybe by a bug) using the rope and causing some trouble, spawning new demons and killing...

That's great!
For the name, if you want to put it in the solution, use "Snake Plissken".
However, i am stuck at the elevator too...

Wow, great! I almost gave up my hopes on ever progressing in this game. Thanks a lot!
A question: how the player is supposed to know about the corvette? The descriptions of the parking lot don't give any clues.

Great thread! In my opinion, overused themes are: -Generic Fantasy. Honestly i've never been a great fan of the genre, but surely the theme is overused and many games lack any resemblance of an original idea. -Wanna-be psychological: Again, a lot of the games in the genre are messy, generic and conf...

(I can recommend some awesome books if anyone is interested in reading). Please do so. :) However, my first experiences with text adventures were in elementary school, at 7-8 with the first Space Quest and the third Leisure Suit Larry, which i bought in a newsstand. I got stuck immediately and i co...
