AGI - The Adventure Game Interpreter - was developed by Sierra On-Line after IBM had encouraged them to develop a game that could help launch their new PCjr. The game - King's Quest - was launched in 1984.
After the final, 14th AGI game - Manhunter II - the system was superseded by SCI
Several games that fall outside the scope of CASA, such as the Manhunter series and Donald Duck's Playground, were also created with AGI.
