The Adventure Definition Language (ADL) by Tim Brengle and Ross Cunniff. ADL is a programming language and run-time environment designed for the convenient implementation of Adventure-like games. It was derived from the earlier system DDL. See the ADL Reference Manual for more details of the system.
Not to be confused with the ADL (Adventure Description Language).
