Games - Adventurescape (27 results)
Adventurescape was an adventure authoring tool, written by Jane Evans and Jonathan Evans, in BBC BASIC. The manual lists it as being published by ASP and produced by Phoenix Software. It was given away for free on an A&B Computing magazine cover disk. The system was pretty simple and was used enough for a compilation disk of adventures to be released.
It was also "expanded", and re-titled "HATRACK" for several games from Heyley Software. HATRACK apparently stood for Howard And Tony's Radical Adventure Creating Kit, referencing programmers Howard Roberts and Tony Heap.
The data files can be played without emulation, using the ascape interpreter.
