As this was public domain, the original publisher is not known. It was widely available from many user group libraries. The most commonly available version was from Eugene Atari Computer Enthusiasts, but this version was missing the CAVE1 file. You should try to find the complete version, if you can. Eugene ACE also published some hints in ACE Newsletter, March 1981, p. 10.
The program is also capable of creating new adventures or modifying existing adventures using the special commands \NEW, \GOTO, \LIST, \PRINT, \CHANGE and \EXTEND. There is no documentation provided for this on the disk, but if you hunt around, you may be able to find Mike Hall's three page summary of how to use it.
This program appears to be an early version of the author's Wizard's Revenge, published by Atari Program Exchange (APX).
