I may be in the minority here, but this is my favourite in the Enchanter Trilogy.
I have yet to play Spellbreaker, but I certainly found Sorceror better than Enchanter.
It probably has the difficulty rating that will suit the most players (Spellbreaker took me forever to get through) - and the beginning is a knockout.
This is class. The spell mechanics are used very effectively, and almost every devious way the player can try to abuse the spells has been catered for. But where the game excels is in the puzzles: some are among the best ever in classic adventures, and the game difficulty is just right to appeal to a wide range of players. Unmissable.
