Synopsis

Plot

A wizard, haunted by visions of a terrible future, must travel the world and take on a mighty enemy who can reach into the very minds of men.

Notes

Deception of the Mind's Eye was originally designed as a two-part adventure for the ZX Spectrum 128K home computer in 1992/93 but never released.

Part one was fully completed but part two was only about 75% finished. The game was made available for download in 2010. This original version was ported to SAM Coupe in 2018; using the community hacked version of PAWS 128K.

Part one of the game was ported to Amstrad CP/M+ (using PAW) as well as PC DOS, Amiga and ST (using DAAD) in 2019.

A revised version of part one of the game, for ZX Spectrum 128K, was produced in 2020; removing the graphics to make way for quality-of-life enhancements and bug-fixes.
