Synopsis

Plot

As Amsel of Fandora, you have to save The Last Dragon with the help of King Hawkwind.

Notes

Contains a few optional (and rather primitive) arcade sequences, which were taken out in later releases, after Trillium became Telarium.

Based on the eponymous children's fantasy book by Michael Reaves and Byron Preiss. As such, the game is somewhat easier than the other Telarium releases. The game starts where the book ends.

The Atari ST version was likely not published.

One of my childhood favourites. Very atmospheric and story driven.

A high point of the Trillium series, Dragonworld has excellent atmosphere and manages immersion in a fantasy adventure world in a compelling way. It is also fairly balanced, relying on maximizing player options instead of operational challenges (such as guess-the-verb or inventory juggling, which this game completely avoid). Maybe puzzles are a bit on the easy side, but the game is long enough to compensate. Should appeal to a wide audience.
