I want to thank you for getting this posted. I have long since lost my collection of T&D cassettes and the hardware has as well. The Keys Adventure was the second of three submissions I made to T&D software that was accepted. This one was published during the summer after I had finished my first year of high school (all were done in about a 2 year span). The opportunity to get software published likely made me stand out enough to the college I eventually went to that I got a good scholarship offer and I've had a successful career in programming/IT as a result of it (still ongoing). I'm also glad you posted some screen shots; I remember the screen with the map of the house but had forgotten what the title screen looked like.
Text adventures were fairly popular in the late 80's and I wanted to take a stab at writing one. I did a second one as well though it was too heavy on memory use and wouldn't work with the disk drive operating system. I did a lot of arcade type games as well. I really appreciate the power of the Coco 2 and 3; it was the right amount of computing at the right time for me.
